The style of slate we use for this house sign is polished slate (also known as honed). The face of the slate is smooth with straight bevelled edges.
Our slate house signs are crafted from real, high-quality natural slate stone. When installed on an exterior (or interior) wall, your sign can endure for well over a decade.
Maintain your sign’s like-new appearance by re-sealing the stone with slate oil. This oil cleans and revitalises the slate’s colour. You can purchase slate oil from us in small bottles, with the option to include a microfibre cloth. The oil only needs to be reapplied to your sign two to three times a year.
