How do I design and order a house sign?
Designing your perfect sign is a breeze! You can customise and order directly on our website, and our sign designer tool even gives you a live preview so you can see exactly how it will look before you buy. If you need a little help getting started, check out our handy sign designer guide.
What's included in my sign order?
Each sign order includes your personalised house sign, the fixing accessories and anything else selected during the ordering process. Everything you need to get your sign installed is included!
Do you offer discounts on bulk orders?
Yes, we offer a discount on bulk orders - including for trade and property developers. Simply add 5 or more signs to your cart to get 15% off your entire order.

Sign Installation
Frequently asked questions regarding house sign installation.
Do you do hidden fixings?
Yes we do. Our hidden fixings allow your sign to be installed without any visible screws, creating a clean “floating” look on your wall.
They are only available on our 20mm thick slate and come pre-assembled, making installation simple and straightforward.
Hidden fixings are an additional £20.

Bespoke Orders
Frequently asked questions regarding custom orders.
I need my sign to be a specific size
We can make signs any size within the dimensions of 600 x 300 mm! Please contact us with the size in mind and we'll give you a quote.
I need my business logo on a sign
We can engrave most business logos on signs. Please email us at hello@thebespokesignhouse.com with your logo (in PDF, AI, PS or SVG format preferably*) and the sign size you had in mind (we can do any size within the dimensions of 600 x 300 mm) for a quote.
*A £10 design fee is charged on bespoke orders with logos that are supplied in picture format (JPG, PNG, JPEG etc.) as these files types will need to be manually drawn up by our team.
Can you do custom paint colours?
Yes we can paint your engraved sign in the paint colour of your choosing. Please contact us with the paint you had in mind for a quote. You’ll only be charged for the cost of the paint, and we’ll ship any leftovers back to you with your order (if requested).
I have made a custom design, can you put it on a sign?
We can engrave most custom designs on signs. Please email us at hello@thebespokesignhouse.com with your logo (in PDF, AI, PS or SVG format preferably*) and the sign size you had in mind (we can do any size within the dimensions of 600 x 300 mm) for a quote.

I have made a design on Canva, can I send it to you to put on a sign?
Yes, we can put most Canva designs on our signs. Please contact us with the shareable Canva link and we'll see what we can do.
Caring for Your Sign
Frequently asked questions on how to look after your house sign.
How durable are your house signs?
All our limestone, slate and granite house signs are crafted from high-quality natural stone, engraved, painted and designed to withstand any weather condition. With minimal care, your sign will last a lifetime - just be careful not to drop it!
Does exposure to bad weather or the sun damage your signs?
Not at all. We use durable, natural materials like slate, limestone and granite. Our team treat each sign with stone sealant and lacquer to ensure they're protected from the elements all year round.
Delivery Queries
Frequently asked questions regarding where and how we deliver orders.
Which courier do you use for UK orders?
We ship all our orders using Royal Mail. You can choose the exact service at checkout.
If your order contains redwood or oak posts, we use Parcel Force (this is due to the size of the posts).
How much is delivery in the UK?
We offer free tracked delivery on all UK orders over £45. Tracked delivery on orders under £45 is only £3.49.
Express next day delivery is available (subject to capacity) to choose at checkout for £22.
Can I track the progress of my order?
You can easily track your order using our Order Tracker. Simply type in the email you used when placing your order and then select your order to view its progress.
Which courier do you use for international orders?
We ship all our orders using Royal Mail. You can choose the exact service at checkout. Once your order clears customs, it will be handed over to your country's postal service.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery usually takes 2-3 working days. Our current order to delivery timeframe is 2 Weeks.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes, we ship our signs worldwide! Your country’s shipping cost will be calculated at checkout.
Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs duties.

My order say it has been delivered but it hasn't?
Get in touch with us and we will confirm the status of the order with your courrier. We can look to take the appropriate next steps to resolve any issues from there.
Returns Information
Frequently asked questions regarding our returns policy.
What's your returns policy?
Customised items, including our slate, granite, and limestone signs, are final sale and non-returnable unless faulty.
Non-personalised products, such as solar lights and mounting posts, may be returned for a refund at the buyer's expense within 14 days of delivery in original condition.

Post Purchase Questions
These are some questions we get asked by our customers after they purchase from us.
There are subtle lines on my sign after unwrapping what is this?
Don’t worry! The line imprints are just from the cardboard packaging, leaving a temporary mark on the oil that protects your slate sign. Simply take a cloth and gently wipe the marks away to restore its smooth finish.
Can I reorder the same sign?
Of course!
How long does delivery take?

I need a VAT receipt for my order
VAT receipts can be requested through our contact page. We will get back to you with a receipt as soon as possible.
How can I leave a review for my order?
A few days after your order is delivered, we will send you an email to leave us a review. We hope you're happy with your order!

Support and Complaints
We want you to be happy with your order, these are some questions we get asked by our customers after purchase.
My order has arrived damaged, what do I do?
Although we carefully check every sign before shipping, damage can occasionally happen in transit.
If your sign arrives damaged, please email hello@thebespokesignhouse.com with:
- A photo of the damage
- Your order number
If necessary, we will arrange a replacement as quickly as possible.
My order is incorrect, what do I do?
Before we send our signs, we double-check to make sure your sign is correct according to what you order. But if your sign does arrive incorrect, send us an email with a picture of the difference to hello@thebespokesignhouse.com and we will send a replacement out to you.
My order says it was delivered but it hasn't arrived
Please contact us via email with your address and order number, and we'll try our best to find the whereabouts of your order with the help of Royal Mail.
If we're unable to locate your order, we'll happily make and send you out a new order
