About Us
Welcome, we’re Jack and Kris: co-founders of The Bespoke Sign House!
Our Story
Like many great ideas, ours was born in the thick of uncertainty - during the first Covid lockdown in 2020.
With time on our hands and a shared ambition to build something meaningful, we set our sights on an old, disused cattle shed on Jack’s family farm. Hidden beneath brambles and filled with decades of dust and clutter, the shed became our blank canvas.
Over the following months, we cleared, cleaned, renovated, and eventually transformed the space into a working sign-making workshop.
We officially launched The Bespoke Sign House in 2021.
Since then, we’ve grown from a two-man operation into a thriving business, crafting bespoke slate and granite signage that now appears on homes and businesses across the UK, USA, Ireland, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and beyond.
As for that old disused cattleshed workshop? It’s still where every single sign is handmade today.

Every sign is made by hand in our Kent workshop, with care and precision.
We work exclusively with high-quality slate and granite stone, to ensure each sign lasts over a decade - rain or shine.
Though we ship worldwide, our production stays proudly local.
