From restoring habitats to promoting pollinator-friendly planting and enhancing outdoor spaces, nature and craftsmanship have always been at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re so excited to be supporting a garden with such a powerful environmental message.
So, in the spirit of all things green, growing, and crafted to last, here’s everything you need to know about C6, one of Chelsea Flower Show’s most inspiring gardens for 2025.

About The C6 Garden
Designed by Fenton Gardens, C6 is a calm, sophisticated outdoor space with sustainability at its core.
It's name – C6 – refers to carbon’s chemical symbol (C) and atomic number (6), reflecting the garden’s focus on carbon sequestration and water management.
Key Features of the Garden Include:
The garden will lock away over 1,200kg of carbon using innovative techniques.
It will capture and store up to 450 litres of rainwater, demonstrating a sustainable approach to water use.
At the Heart of the Design
...are three carbon-sequestering techniques, offering inspiration for gardens of all sizes:
Added to the soil to improve fertility while storing carbon for up to 1,000 years.
Beautifully crafted and locking away 500kg of CO2 over the timber’s lifetime.
Fast-growing trees and perennials chosen for their potential to be harvested and turned into biochar, creating a sustainable cycle.
The Garden Also Features:

A Copper Tank
A copper tank gently feeds water into a rill, flowing diagonally across the garden.
This is part of a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SuDS), helping slow rainwater runoff and reduce flooding risk, while creating a soothing visual and sensory experience.
A Bronze Sculpture
Against the garden wall stands a striking bronze sculpture, depicting the negative space inside a closed hand. This symbolises the power of biochar, where carbon’s porous, negative space is what gives it its soil-enhancing benefits.
Supporting Noah's Ark Children's Hospice
After the show, C6 will find a much-loved onward home at the Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. A special hospice supporting babies, children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions, and their families, make the most of every day.
We are particularly proud to support a garden with such a meaningful legacy – one that will bring comfort and joy long after the show ends.
This onward journey is an important part of Chelsea Flower Show’s ethos, ensuring that the gardens live on and reduce their environmental impact.
