Should I choose etched or engraved lettering?
An etched text finish uses a laser engraver to take away the top surface of your chosen slate or granite sign to imprint your text on the face of the stone. The etched text is a soft grey and smooth to the touch, this gives a natural appearance to the sign.
Alternatively, deep engraved text is made using a sandblaster which engraved the lettering around 3mm deep into the face of the sign.
-
How do I fit my house number sign to my property?
To fit your sign to the wall of your house, all you will need is a level, a pencil, a drill and the fixings we have provided in your signs package. All our signs come with an easy-to-follow installation guide, so you will have you sign up in minutes. Once your sign is installed, don’t forget to recycle your packaging! All the packaging we use is fully recyclable.

What sign materials are available?
We have two different types of slate, one which is smooth and the other which is more rustic in appearance. We then also have granite, which is popular for a more modern and glossy house sign.
