Our slate comes in either 10mm or 20mm thickness. You can choose the thickness when designing your house sign at the top of this page.
Do your signs come with hidden/invisible fixings?
We offer Hidden Fixings on all our 20mm thick slate house signs. You can choose the slates thickness, followed by the Hidden Fixings installation style when designing your house sign at the top of this page.
What is your lead time?
Your sign will be handmade and delivered within 4 Weeks. Our lead time can change depending on the time of year.
What are hidden fixings?

Available in either 10mm or 20mm thick natural slate, these signs combine durability with a refined contemporary appearance suited to both modern and period properties.

Each slate plaque is individually cut, bevelled and finished by hand in our Kent workshop, with a strong focus on balance, readability and clean typography. Whether displaying a house name, address or property number, our design-led approach ensures your sign remains elegant, easy to read and visually balanced from a distance.
Sustainably Packaged & Made to Order
All signs are engraved and paint-filled by hand before being carefully packaged by us using recyclable paper-based packaging wherever possible. Nothing is outsourced, allowing us to maintain complete control over the quality and finish of every sign we make.It looks stunning on my new gate, clear font on the slate and very easy to read. I was impressed with how well it was packaged too.

I am over the moon with The Bespoke Sign House. The mock up really helped me see, when printed off, if the sign could be seen from the road etc. They had recommended the size and it was spot on. The sign arrived safely package. Putting up the hidden fitting was easy. Really good product, really good customer service. I will be using again.
I cannot recommend this seller at all. A full month before my two signs arrived then one has a spelling mistake, although both are the same. Replacement sent, slate is a completely different colour and I cannot use them as their close together.
