If well-maintained, our slate and granite memorial signs can last up to 10 years outdoors. All our personalised house plaques are sealed with Danish stone oil, ensuring maximum durability against all the elements and the suns UV.

Caring for your new slate or granite memorial sign is so easy you can just leave it be. However, there's a few things you can do to keep your plaque looking as-good-as new, all the time:

• seal it it slate oil every 6 months or so to maintain it's like-new appearance and shine.

Yes we do. You can refer to our wooden stakes page where you can choose between varying pole lengths. All our wooden posts come with screws to allow for easy fitting.

It's super easy! We offer various types of fixings methods, from plain screws and wall plugs to stainless steel stand-offs. You can choose the fixing type when designing your sign at the top of the page. Please refer to our sign fixings guides for fitting instructions.

Because of the natural nature of slate and granite stone, the colour, patterns and variations will differ from the live preview shown on our website.

Our Polished Slate is dark grey in colour, with subtle lighter and darker grey shade patterns in the stones surface. Minuscule specs of pyrite (also known as fool's gold) is present in slate too.

Our Black Granite, as the name suggests, is black in colour, with subtle white specs in the stones surface.
