We offer Hidden Fixings on all our 20mm thick slate house signs. You can choose the slates thickness, followed by the Hidden Fixings installation style when designing your house sign at the top of this page.

What is your lead time?

Your sign will be handmade and delivered within 4 Weeks. Our lead time can change depending on the time of year.

What are hidden fixings?

The natural texture and subtle variation within the slate help give each sign its own individual character while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.

Handmade in Our Kent Workshop

Every sign is made to order in our Kent workshop using traditional engraving methods and careful hand-finishing techniques. Each plaque is individually prepared to achieve sharp engraving detail, balanced spacing, and a durable finish designed for long-term outdoor use in British weather conditions.

As with all Bespoke Sign House products, this sign is engraved rather than surface printed, carefully packaged using recyclable paper-based materials, and produced entirely in-house without outsourcing.

The sign is good quality and looks lovely

The sign arrived on time, but I was disappointed with its overall look and finish. The slate has big, ugly patches all over it that look like stains or grease marks. I contacted the company to ask for a refund since I cannot use the sign due to its poor appearance. I received a reply a few days later saying that my sign matched the website preview that I approved when I ordered and that because the slate is natural, this marking is typical. Comparing the website preview and the sign delivered, there is a vast disparity in appearance, and the response is extremely disappointing. I shall return the natural slate to the ground. Just be aware that what you see and approve on the preview may not be what arrives.
