Do I Need to Apply Oil to My Sign?
No, you don't have to apply oil to your sign, but helps protect it from the weather by acting as a barrier to stop water from being absorbed. And it just happens to make your sign look as good as new every time!

I am glad that I added this to my order. Hard to believe that such a small bottle will last but very little needed and with a lovely soft cloth included, making it easy to apply. Both signs look great and I have diarised to keep them in tip top condition.
Very prompt service.
I purchased this for my daughter to use on her slate sign not sure how it's gone as yet. Was surprised there was no label on thebottle or any instructions I guess it was obvious how to use it but just surprised nothing about it.
Hi - thank you for taking the time to leave a review! You can apply the slate oil using a microfiber cloth or soft rag. Just add a small amount and rub it evenly across the surface of the sign to restore the slate’s natural finish. We really appreciate you mentioning the lack of instructions, and we’ll look at including some simple guidance with future orders to avoid any confusion.
We hope your daughter loves how her slate sign looks once it’s treated!
Nice to refresh slate after winter. Easy to use and apply with cloth provided.
I bought some oil to keep my slate sign looking good throughout the year, I've used it twice and the bottle doesn't look like its gone down at all. I initially just bought a bottle of oil, but came back to get a cloth too as the oil does have a slight smell and doesn't wash easily.
