Installing the Light

Before installation, switch the solar light on. Once activated, it will reach its maximum brightness after 3–5 days of outdoor exposure.

The image shows a graphic demonstrating the process of marking a hole for installation. A pen is shown marking a hole through a bracket, which is positioned against a dark surface labeled "BRICK WALL." The image is likely part of an instructional guide, indicating where to mark the hole before drilling or fixing something, such as a solar light bracket, to the wall. The elements are clearly labeled, making the steps easy to follow.

Step 1

Prepare the Wall Bracket

  • Hold the wall bracket against the wall
  • Use a pencil to mark the screw holes
The image shows an instructional graphic demonstrating the process of drilling a hole into a wall. A power drill, labeled "ELECTRIC DRILL USING 3MM BIT," is shown drilling a "WALL HOLE" through a bracket positioned against a dark surface labeled "BRICK WALL." The drill bit is aligned with the marked hole on the wall. The image provides clear visual guidance on how to create a hole for mounting something, such as a solar light bracket, onto the wall.

Step 2

Install the Wall Bracket

  • Drill the holes
  • Insert wall plugs
  • Screw the bracket firmly into place
The image shows an instructional graphic for the final step in mounting a solar light bracket onto a brick wall. The solar light unit is being aligned with the bracket that has been secured to the wall. Arrows indicate the direction for sliding or attaching the solar light onto the bracket. The bracket is fixed in place with a screw and wall plug, as indicated by the previous steps. The image clearly illustrates how to attach the solar light to the bracket for secure installation on the wall.

Step 3

Attach the Light Body

  • Slide the light onto the wall bracket

Step 4

Secure in Place

  • Use the 2 small fixing nut/bolt to secure the light body to the bracket on each side.

Section 2 of 2

Turning the Light On

After installation, keep the solar light switched off for 3-5 days so it can fully charge. Once charged, the light can be turned on. See how the light is turned on by following these steps.

The image shows an instructional graphic demonstrating the process of removing a solar light from its base. The light is shown detached from its bracket, with downward arrows indicating that the base should be unscrewed and then removed. A circular arrow indicates the direction for unscrewing. The text below the image reads, "UNSCREW THE LIGHT'S BASE & REMOVE," guiding the user through the process of detaching the solar light from the wall-mounted bracket.

Step 1

Unscrew the Base Cap

  • The light doesn't need to be uninstalled from the wall to do this. Twist the base cap anti-clockwise to remove.
The image shows an instructional graphic emphasizing the importance of turning on the switch of a solar light. The solar light is depicted from a top-down view, with a close-up of a switch labeled "OFF" on the left and "ON" on the right. An arrow points to the "ON" position, with text below the image that reads, "ENSURE THE SWITCH IS SET TO ON, OTHERWISE THE LIGHT WON’T WORK." This instruction highlights a crucial step to ensure the solar light functions properly after installation.

Step 2

Turn the Light On or Off

Inside the base of the light is a switch with 3 modes:

  • ON: switches the light on. The light automatically turn on when it's dark and off when it's daytime.
  • OFF (middle): this turns the light completely off.
  • P or S: labelled differently depending on the model of your light. This toggle is 'Powersaving Mode' and can be enabled in the winter when daylight hours are reduced.
